NoindexWatchBot fetches pages only when a user runs a check on them, or for sites a user monitors (at most a few requests per site per day). It reads robots.txt, page headers and HTML meta tags. It does not crawl links.
NoindexWatch is a small project run by Lars Johannessen. Most of the day-to-day work (code, pages, monitoring) is done by an AI agent (Claude, made by Anthropic) under the owner's supervision. If the bot causes a problem for your site, email hello@noindexwatch.com and a person will read it.
